Sorry folks, the contest is now closed and the winners chosen. Congratulations Melissa Snark and Hilary! Your e-books are on the way to your inboxes.

Whoot Whoot!

Welcome readers. Did you find a new e-reader under the tree? Well, have we got a sweet deal for you.

22 Authors – 27 E-book Romances – Two Grand Prize Winners!

That’s right. Two lucky winners will be filling their new toys with free romance e-books. First prize 15 titles. Second prize 12 titles. How do I win, you ask? Simple. The contributing authors have posted the blurb from their book at their websites (links below) and have asked a question about the blurb. Answer the question in a comment at each site. Each question answered is another entry toward one of the two grand prizes. And that’s not all. Many of the hops along the way are offering individual prizes as well. So be sure to visit as many as you can.

See! Easy Breezy!

( Grand prize winners will be announced on the 30th.)

Okay, my contribution to the grand prize is one of my lighthearted, contemporary romances.

That Dating Thing.

You can read an excerpt here.

The daughter of Wall Street’s most notorious stock swindler, dog trainer, Rylee Pierce has perfected the art of flying beneath society’s radar. Prosecutor, Cooper Reed is a threat to her carefully hidden truths, but how is a woman supposed to resist a man capable of handling a psychotic Great Dane while charming her out of her panties before she has the chance to blink?

Here’s my question:

Rylee is partial to psychotic Great Danes. What is your favorite breed of dog? Or do cats rule?

Don’t forget to leave your answer in the comments, then head on off to check out the rest of the titles in the book bash package. The links are below. Read the blurbs and answer the questions for more chances to win. Good luck and happy reading.

Thank you so much for this awesome blog event! 🙂 I love both dogs and cats. Unfortunately I now haven’t any pets, but I hope some day again.

I am partial to Great Danes as well. I have a Boxer/Dane (mother was a Boxer and the Father was a Great Dane)

    • maccrowne says:

I’ve never had either great dane or boxer, Becky, but I loved researching and writing Pippin. I may just have one in my future. Glad you stopping in. Good luck!

  3. Vonnie Davis says:

Cat’s rule at our house. Well, one cat.

  4. Mae Clair says:

I am such a cat person it’s pathetic! I’m currently without a pet at the moment, but I know there is another feline somewhere in my future. 🙂

Fun hop and a great idea!

    • maccrowne says:

I’m with you, Mae. I can’t seem to manage without a cat in my life, although there always seems to be a dog around as well. I have a sweet blind kitty who rules the house right now. Glad you popped in. Good luck!

  5. That’s a tough one. Don’t tell my pub, but I’m going to say Peckingnese here. I love my Lola. She’s sassy, sweet, cuddly, and playful, and loaded with ‘tude. BUT my pug is sorta my hearing dog (I’m deaf) so I honestly could not live without her. tchevrestt(at)yahoo.com

    • maccrowne says:

Wow, Tara. A Peek and a Pug! A chaotic combination with those two little ones. Thanks for playing along. Good luck in the drawing.

  6. We have three cats and four dogs. Love them all. 🙂

  7. Hi! Sounds like a fun story, Mac! I’m down to one cat, the handsome and personable, Tigger at present, but have kept as many as four at once, due to my habit of taking in strays.

    • maccrowne says:

Thanks, Laramie. The story was a blast to write. Pippin is a hoot and Rylee is the kind of gal I can see myself swilling martinis with. Thanks for popping by. Best of luck in the drawing.

  8. My husband and I decided not to have children based on our failure to raise a Dalmatian properly. We’ve been successful with cats, however. I had one cat named Garp, that followed me around like a dog. One day I might try with another dog, now that I’m mature 🙂 Rolynn

    • maccrowne says:

LOL Rolynn. Unfortunately, hubby and I had our kids before we came up against our Pomeranian. If we knew then what we know now… 😉

  9. Cats all the way!

You’re a woman who knows her mind, Melissa. Then again, cat people usually do. Thanks for playing along. Good luck in the drawing.

  10. Helen says:

Well, I used to own 2 cats until I found out that I was allergic to them. Since then, I’ve had dogs (only small dogs that are smaller than most cats). I’ve gotta say that I’m a true blue dog lover and that Yorkies rule!!!

    • maccrowne says:

😉 I’ve seen your Yorkie, Helen, and have to agree! I’m so glad you popped in. Best of luck in the drawing, my friend.

  11. I love dogs of all kinds & my mom has always had poodles, but my favorite breed is the Havanese.

    drainbamaged.gyzmo at gmail.com

  12. I am partial to our little ShihTzu, Webster. Not fond of yap-yap dogs or aggressive dogs, but love all the rest. We had a sweet yellow lab who has gone to doggie heaven, and I still miss her. Also love cats. We have two. If not for my husband’s good sense, I would have a house full of dogs and cats. ☺

    • maccrowne says:

There is nothing like a lab, Caroline. Our Pom was a rescue of sorts and though I can’t help loving him, he’s a definite trial. His name is Itzy but my friends all call him Shitzy because he’s so frigging annoying. 😉 I’ll never have another small dog.

Thanks for playing and good luck in the drawing.

  13. Shannon Bereza says:

I’m not really partial to any specific breed of dogs, but I love them all. We have a beagle, a cockapoo, and a chihuahua so it is quite the canine variety. And I have two cats. This on top of five kids makes for a very crazy household. All animals are amazing so I love dogs and cats.
    sbereza22@gmail.com

    • maccrowne says:

I’m an animal lover too, Shannon. A house just isn’t a home without at least a couple of them. Sounds like your house is very homey. 😉 Thanks for stopping in and good luck in the drawing.

  14. ginger donahue says:

Great idea <3 To answer your question I LOVE dogs…mid sized to large preferably mixed breeds. I currently have a dashound which I aquired when my dad passed…I LOVE that dog…his name is Hercules….. Cats are ok.

    • maccrowne says:

Hercules! I love it. I have a good friend with a brother and sister dachsy. They are both characters. So glad you came by to play along, Ginger. Good luck!

  15. Holly J Margaret says:

I love all dogs…but my maltese has to be my favorite 🙂

    • maccrowne says:

Love Maltese, Holly. They are the sweetest little fur balls. My favorite aunt has five of them. They used to love to climb all over her Rottie until she passed a couple of months ago. Thanks for playing along and good luck.

  16. Nicole Montijo says:

Loved your book-excellent reed. Love my dog (who is a mixed breed) and my pyscho cat. Too hard to choice.

    • maccrowne says:

You know I love a pyscho cat, but Shadow holds a special place in my heart. He’s such a big sweetie. Thanks for stopping in and best of luck in the drawing, hon.

  17. I’m definitely a dog lover, and have three of them! I’m partial to big dogs, and my favorite breed is a Bernese Mountain Dog. They are beautiful and as sweet as can be!!

    • maccrowne says:

Going to have to google that breed, Dani. I’m partial to larger breeds myself. The best dogs I’ve ever had were a yellow lab as a girl and a german shepherd when my kids were small. Although, after writing Pippin in That Dating Thing, I see a Great Dane in my future. Hmmm Wonder how it will fit in my Jeep Wrangler. 😉

  18. Sherry says:

I love basset hounds. My daughter had one when she was young and we fell in the with the breed, though we also are partial to labs–any color.
