Is there anything better than getting to see the cover for one of your babies? Well, shoot, of course there is, but that’s a topic for another day. Ahem!

But for today, I’m stoked to share the new cover for THAT DATING THING, one of my three titles contracted with The Wild Rose Press through their acquisition of Still Moments Publishing. I had an absolute blast discovering these characters and can’t wait to set them free on the romance world once again. Getting their new cover puts them one step closer to re-release.

So let me re-introduce, Coop, Rylee and Pippin, who share their lighthearted story of romance in the midst of Wall Street greed in

Do you believe in happily ever after? I do. Heck, of course I do. I’m a romance author, after all. I’m also a survivor and today I’m sharing why I believe in HEA’s, both in fiction and real life, at USAToday’s Happily Ever After blog.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be the only daughter of the most notorious Wall Street swindler in history? Would you follow in your father’s footsteps? Would you be bitter, having to live with the stigma of financial greed? Or would you do everything in your power to find the humor in life and prove your worth to society?

Happy father’s day to all of you wonderful dads, including mine, who is no doubt smiling down from on high as we celebrate his first great-grandson’s 1st birthday today.

Love you, Dad.

My snippet this week departs from the past few weeks where I’ve teased you with Rylee and Coop’s romance. Several weeks ago (here) I introduced you to Pippin, a ten month old Great Dane in Rylee’s charge. In this scene, Rylee has just been told by Pippin’s owners that they will no longer be able to keep the large dog. Though Rylee makes the calls, inquiring after a new home for him, she’s just going through the motions. Her connection with Pippin is too strong, the whispering too clear, to let him go now that he has found his way into her heart. She hangs up the phone to find Pippin watching her.

Enjoy!!

“If you’re going to be sticking around, there are rules – and number one is no more jumping!”
He immediately came to his feet, padding around her desk to rest his muzzle against the crook of her arm. He brushed his large head against her in his version of a hug.
I love you.
A fatalistic smile curved her mouth and she leaned down to rest her forehead against his.
“I love you, too.”

Thanks so much for stopping by.
